Meet the world’s youngest female pizzaiola
As the daughter of the world-famous pizzaiolo Robert Caporuscio, many people doubted Giorgia Caporuscio for being a woman in a male-dominated profession. Born and raised in Italy, she learned the art of Neapolitan pizza making under the expertise of her father before setting off on her own. Making her way to the states, she became one of, if not the only female pizzaiola in the U.S. and was the youngest of only two women to ever win first place in the world’s largest pizza competition.
