Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, communities have been getting creative when it comes to giving back.Long Island’s Mary Kate Tischler of Seaford would have never thought that reading an article about another woman giving back in Detroit, Michigan, would inspire her to do her own thing.It was a Sunday morning in November when Tischler and her six-year-old daughter decided to make their own “sharing table”.She drew inspiration from the woman she previously read about to give back in her own neighborhood.
