Actor Biography
A gifted actor, Jeff Perry has starred in a wide range of roles across television, film and stage.
Perry starred for seven seasons in ABC's hit series "Scandal," opposite Kerry Washington, where he brilliantly played fan-favorite Cyrus Beene, the White House's chief of staff. Most recently seen in the Shondaland series "Inventing Anna" for Netflix, other TV credits include both seasons of Bravo's "Dirty John" and Paramount Plus' "$1." He is also recognized for his role in the long-running CBS series "Nash Bridges" and has appeared in a number of recurring roles for hit series such as "Grey's Anatomy," where he played Meredith Grey's estranged father.
On the big screen, Perry was recently seen in "Trial by Fire" opposite Laura Dern, and "Lizzie" alongside Chloe Sevigny, Kristen Stewart and Denis O'Hare.
Co-founder of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre, he has appeared in over 30 Steppenwolf productions including their Tony® Award-winning Broadway productions of "August: Osage County" and "The Grapes of Wrath".
