Character Biography

Meg is a constant reminder of Kate's old life. She's a party-hearty singleton and the only woman Kate knows who has less experience with kids than she has. She and Kate have been best friends for many years, and Meg still works at the bar she and Kate used to manage. Meg is blunt, selfish, and irresponsible. She'll give Kate's kids bad advice and calls Pete, "Three-Pete," because yes, he's been married three times.

She can't understand why Kate would trade in their old lifestyle for a husband with two ex-wives and three kids. And while she doesn't understand Kate's new romance, Meg still constantly comes over for help, advice, and fun. In Meg's eyes, her life has changed just as much as Kate's since Kate got married.
