Actor Biography
Jesse James Keitel is quickly on their way to becoming a breakout star and one to watch in Hollywood. Keitel will next been seen in the starring role of David E. Kelley's highly anticipated ABC series "The Big Sky," opposite Katheryn Winnick and Ryan Phillippe. Keitel will play Jerrie, a gender-fluid artist with big dreams, where an intimate relationship with a suspect in a kidnapping takes a wild turn. Keitel's casting as one of the leads is truly groundbreaking, as they are one of the only few nonbinary actors and ONLY nonbinary series regular that has starred in a series on primetime television. Keitel has been a true advocate in moving the needle for the LGBTQ+ community's timely representation in Hollywood.
Keitel is a nonbinary actor, writer and artist known for their work on "Alex Strangelove" (2018), "Younger" (2018) and the Student Academy Award-winning film "Miller & Son" (2019).
Originally from eastern Long Island, New York, Keitel attended Pace University in New York City where they received a bachelor's in fine arts in acting. Keitel is also a drag artist under the pseudonym Peroxide of the Haus of Femanon, who is larger than life and makes all their own costumes and does their own makeup.
Keitel currently resides in Los Angeles.
