Actor Biography
Natalie Alyn Lind stars in ABC's new drama "Big Sky," created and executive produced by David E. Kelley. Based on the 2013 book "The Highway," the highly anticipated series also stars Ryan Phillippe and follows the search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. Through the investigation, they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared.
Lind currently also stars in the second season of CBS All Access' "Tell Me a Story," an anthology series from Kevin Williamson depicting iconic fairy tales reimagined as modern-day thrillers. Also a gifted singer, Lind sang all of the songs for her character.
Most recently, Lind starred on Fox and Marvel's "The Gifted," playing mutant Lauren Strucker who is learning to embrace and control her powers. Based off the X-Men comics, the show ran for two seasons. Her first prominent television role came on Fox's gritty crime drama "Gotham" playing villain Silver St. Cloud, an ethereal beauty and Gotham debutante who lost her parents at a young age.
Lind's past TV credits include CW's "iZombie," NBC's "Chicago Fire" and TNT's "Murder in the First." Additionally, she recurred on the hit ABC comedy "The Goldbergs" as Dana Caldwell. Lind's other credits include Lifetime's "Army Wives," Nickelodeon's "iCarly," CBS' "Flashpoint," Disney Channel's "Wizards of Waverly Place," CBS' "Criminal Minds," as well as a lead role in Lifetime's "Playdate" and a part in Jason Blum's horror film "Mockingbird."
Lind comes from a film family and has been immersed in the entertainment industry since she was a child. She is the oldest daughter of producer and assistant director John Lind and actress Barbara Alyn Woods, best known for her role as Deb Scott in the long-running CW series "One Tree Hill," where Lind booked her first job at the age of 4 and worked alongside her mother on the hit show. Her sisters Emily Alyn Lind and Alyvia Alyn Lind are actresses as well. Born in Los Angeles, she spent most of her childhood traveling back and forth between the series location in North Carolina and her home in California, where she currently resides.
