S1E824Veteran’s Day 2020: Honoring the Men and Women Defending Democracy
As the final votes are tallied in the U.S. presidential election, it’s more important than ever to honor those who are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our democracy. This Veteran’s Day, we’re shining a light on true American heroes and the civilians that help them shine—from a company giving free wedding gowns to military brides to a Purple Heart recipient taking to the surf despite losing both legs in Afghanistan, and even a 93-year-old veteran with a passion for boozy baked goods. No matter whom you voted for, celebrating the men and women who served this nation with honor is something we should all have in common.
