Despite Patrick's issues with Rafe, Dr. Obrecht made him operate. Visibly upset and torn, Patrick goes into surgery. Silas is furious demanding a different doctor. Obrecht tells him that no other doctor will be able to get there in time. Patrick, in the midst of Rafe's surgery, is confronted by his dark shadow side.
