American Idol 2018 Recap: Top 10 Contestants Revealed
America's Vote finally arrived this week on American Idol 2018, with fans getting their chance to vote for their favorite contestants to move forward in the competition. After the first Sunday night of performances on the main American Idol stage, America got to vote to secure their top six contestants to move on to the American Idol 2018 Top 10. On Monday, judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan had the tough job of deciding which four of the remaining eight would go on and which four would go home. Having already saved Ada Vox—oh, we'll get to that!—it was down to the judges to choose three more contestants to move on to the American Idol 2018 Top 10. It was an emotional reveal as they chose Jurnee, Michelle Sussett, and Dennis Lorenzo.

No Deliberations Needed
Ada Vox was the last performance of Monday night, having just found out that she was not safe from America's Vote the night before. But immediately after her song, judge Katy Perry, along with judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, told her to take a seat in the Top 10.
Gabby Barrett Goes Through the "Star-Wash"
Young Gabby Barrett closed the show on Sunday night with a performance of Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" that had Katy Perry jealous of her trip through the "star-wash" and had Lionel Richie exclaiming "a star is born."

Michael J. Woodard Stands Still
Michael J. Woodard didn't stop with his eclectic song choices on Sunday night, when he performed David Guetta featuring Sia's "Titanium," but he did keep his tendency to move around in-check to match the song's message.
The Most Qualified Woman
The judges were shocked on Monday night when they found out that America's Vote hadn't kept Jurnee safe, and after her performance of "Never Enough" from The Greatest Showman, they let America know just how much they disagreed with that decision.
