Special Coverage of the 2024 Democratic National Convention: See the Schedule

ABC News announced special coverage of the 2024 Democratic National Convention from Monday, Aug. 19, to Thursday, Aug. 22, featuring robust reporting and analysis on Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, the campaign and party platform, speeches, the latest polling, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and the most pressing issues for voters. ABC News will air one hour of primetime coverage (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT) Monday and Tuesday and two hours (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT) Wednesday and Thursday on ABC. ABC News Live, the network's 24/7 streaming news channel, will stream primetime coverage (7:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. EDT) throughout each day, and Hulu will showcase all of ABC News' coverage. "World News Tonight" anchor and managing editor David Muir leads special coverage featuring ABC News' powerhouse political team, including ABC News Live "Prime" anchor Linsey Davis, chief White House correspondent Mary Bruce, chief global affairs correspondent and "This Week" co-anchor Martha Raddatz, chief Washington correspondent and "This Week" co-anchor Jonathan Karl, chief justice correspondent Pierre Thomas, chief national correspondent Matt Gutman, senior congressional correspondent Rachel Scott, senior national correspondent Terry Moran, senior White House correspondent Selina Wang, White House correspondent MaryAlice Parks, Washington, D.C., bureau chief Rick Klein, correspondent Alex Perez and contributing political correspondent Rachael Bade. Contributors Donna Brazile, Asma Khalid and Reince Priebus will provide analysis for network and streaming coverage. 

  

"World News Tonight with David Muir" and ABC News Live's "Prime with Linsey Davis" will both originate their broadcasts from Chicago every day of the convention. "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," anchored by co-anchor Raddatz, will originate its broadcast from Chicago on Sunday, Aug. 18. The program will feature new ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos polling on the state of the race, to be released Sunday morning.

  

ABC News Live will have comprehensive coverage throughout every day of the conventions from Chicago. Anchor Kyra Phillips will lead the coverage beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT, and anchor Kayna Whitworth will continue coverage beginning at 5:00 p.m. EDT, both from Chicago. Davis will anchor a special edition of ABC News Live "Prime" from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. EDT. Muir will anchor ABC News Live coverage from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EDT on Monday and Tuesday. ABC News Live will begin simulcasting ABC network programming at 10:00 p.m. EDT on Monday and Tuesday and 9:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday and Thursday, and Davis will anchor continued coverage from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. EDT. Multiplatform reporters Jay O'Brien and Zohreen Shah, investigative reporter Olivia Rubin, senior reporter Katherine Faulders and ABC News Live contributors John Katko, LZ Granderson and Mike Muse will join coverage throughout each day. 

  

ABC News Digital will be on the ground in Chicago for full coverage of the DNC. In addition to live updates, analysis, key players and highlights of each day of the convention, there will also be feature stories on local businesses, as well as the history of conventions in Chicago.  

ABC News Radio will have live anchored coverage led by correspondent Alex Stone each night, with reporting from White House correspondent Karen Travers and correspondent Jim Ryan in Chicago, national correspondent Steven Portnoy and the ABC News team of experts and analysts. Radio will also offer daily morning and evening two-ways with affiliate stations. ABC Audio's flagship daily news podcast, "Start Here," will devote daily coverage to the conventions, with host Brad Mielke in Chicago. 

  

ABC NewsOne, the affiliate news service of ABC News, will be reporting live from the United Center in Chicago with ABC News multiplatform reporters Christiane Cordero and Jaclyn Lee. The ABC News political team will also be providing analysis to ABC stations on each day of the convention. NewsOne provides news content and services for more than 200 ABC affiliates and international news partners.  

  

"Good Morning America," "GMA3: What You Need to Know," and "Nightline," among other ABC News programs and platforms, will bring viewers the latest news from the conventions throughout the week.
