The Businesses and Products from Season 18, Episode 5 of Shark Tank
In season 18, episode 5 of "Shark Tank," business owners present the Sharks with investment opportunities, including a pickle-infused beer, a reusable rat trap, a back-scratching service and padded lacrosse sticks. Get the full details on the companies featured below.
Donna's Pickle Beer
Donna's Pickle Beer is exactly what it sounds like - a crisp, refreshing lager made with real pickle brine. Donna's brand launched on her birthday in 2023, it's a family business built around a pretty simple idea: we love beer and we love pickles. Turns out, a lot of other people do too.
Vulcan Pest
Vulcan Pest makes the world's first bucket-lid multi-catch trap built for rats and similar sized rodents. The patented Vulcan trap fits any standard five- or seven-gallon bucket and uses the rat's own instincts against it: rats step onto what looks like solid ground and drop into the bucket. The trap resets itself every time, so it keeps catching rodent after rodent with no reset and no poison. One trap, one night, multiple catches. Founded by Ian Fleming, who grew up in the African bush with wildlife filmmaker parents and learned early that you beat an animal by understanding it, Vulcan is on a mission to end one-at-a-time pest control. Why catch one when you can catch them all?
Scratch LA Wellness
Scratch LA Wellness is an ASMR-inspired relaxation studio based in Los Angeles, California. Founded with the intention of making relaxation more accessible through the power of sensory experiences, the studio draws inspiration from Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR), a sensory phenomenon associated with feelings of deep calm and relaxation. Hackees are our patented Padded lacrosse sticks for all ages and skill levels to be able to more safely play pickup lacrosse in the backyard, at the beach or anywhere else a game breaks out. By lowering the barrier to entry for the sport, Hackees gets people off their phones, outside, and connecting through lacrosse.
