Whoopi Goldberg Tells Donald Trump "I'm Not Going Anywhere" on "The View"
On the Wednesday April 27th, 2016 episode of The View, co-host Whoopi Goldberg addressed Donald Trump's recent comments that he is motivated to win the election for President as celebrities like Lena Dunham and Whoopi have said they will leave the country if he becomes President. Whoopi took a moment on today's show to tell Trump that he was wrong. She is not going anywhere as this is her country and has stated this several times on the show. Whoopi Goldberg Corrects Donald Trump
This is not the first time Whoopi has addressed this subject on The View. On the January 20th, 2016 episode during Hot Topics Whoopi said Donald Trump should stop making blanket statements about various groups of people. At that time Trump had made multiple controversial statements about Mexicans and Muslims. Whoopi added when you use "a blanket statement to talk about black people" or "a blanket statement to talk about white people or women or any other group, I don't thinks that's America. I don't want it to be America. Maybe it's time for me to move." Whoopi clarified her statement on the March 1st, 2016 episode in response to Donald Trump's son saying he'll buy her plane ticket if she chooses to leave.
