Jeff Meacham was born in Manchester, Connecticut, grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and graduated college with a bachelors in fine arts from SUNY Purchase in New York. Early in his acting career, Meacham played a variety of roles in shows including Guiding Light, All My Children, Ugly Betty, How I Met Your Mother, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Big Love.
In 2006, Meacham starred in an internet-only ad campaign for the Philips Norelco Bodygroom, which won the Golden Lion at the Cannes Film Festival. Since then, Meacham has been seen in numerous projects including playing lyricist Tony Asher in the award-winning film Love & Mercy opposite Paul Dano.
On television, he's recently guest starred on Teachers, Resident Advisors and Fuller House. He's currently recurring on the Netflix movie/series Malibu Rescue, and will be seen in the upcoming Hulu series Dollface and the Netflix family comedy Team Kaylie.
Meacham is most known for playing the role of Josh Oppenhol in ABC's Emmy® and Golden Globe®-nominated comedy series black-ish, and a recurring role as Principal Bradford in the Nickelodeon series The Thundermans. He has been nominated for two Screen Actor Guild Awards for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series and three Emmy nominations for Best Comedy Series. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Christy Meyers, and two young sons.
