Dre and Rainbow Go to War on Valentine's Day

Ah, Valentine’s Day! The holiday should deliver the most romantic night of the year but if you’re anything like Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross), it ends up bringing blowout arguments.

Dre does his best to avoid the couple’s traditional Valentine’s Day fight on black-ish’s “Big Night, Big Fight” episode, but his plans are ruined when he unwittingly criticizes Rainbow outfit.

But when he unwittingly criticizes his wife’s outfit, the evening gets off to a bad start and only goes downhill from there. From Black-ish, Season 1, Episode 13, “Big Night, Big Fight.”

And it’s downhill from there, as the floodgates to decades’ worth of arguments are opened, and the pair let each other have it at what should have been a romantic dinner date.

But all is not lost for Dre and Rainbow’s Valentine’s Day. The two admit they should have both done things differently but that it’s a good to air their issues. And, of course, the evening is salvaged when they have their “naked peace talks.”
