Actor Biography
Lisa Yamada is Parker, a popular musician who becomes more cynical as the world takes a dark turn around her, in season two of the highly anticipated Freeform anthology series "Cruel Summer."
Yamada previously guest starred in Hulu's "Little Fires Everywhere," Amazon's "The Kicks" and Nickelodeon's "Game Shakers." Her television work includes CW's hit series "All American" opposite Taye Diggs, ABC's "Promised Land," Freeform's "Party of Five," CBS' "Man With A Plan" and "Extant," and the popular series "You're the Worst" for FX.
On the motion picture front, Yamada's flair for acting landed her as a supporting lead in the feature films "Crushed" and "Smashed." She has also voiced two major supporting lead roles: Hyo-Ryeong in Netflix's "All of Us Are Dead" and Ah-Yi in "The Sound of Magic."
