Sean Spicer & Lindsay
Last week, Sean's military training really affected his performance, and not in a good way. This week, his partner, Lindsay Arnold, went full drill instructor in rehearsals, but would it pay off in the ballroom? Len liked that Sean "attacked the dance" and Bruno said Sean "took the bull by the horns." But Sean was still a little stiff, particularly in his core and his facial expressions, and his scores stayed about where they've been since Week 1.

Ally Brooke & Sasha
Ally and her partner Sasha Farber spent last week on top of the leaderboard, but they were challenged to stay there by facing one of the season's toughest dances, the Jive. Bruno exclaimed that it was a "diva Jive" and Carrie Ann said Ally "nailed it." With a score of 32—8s across the board—it looked like they may get to spend another week on top.

Kel Mitchell & Witney
Kel and his partner Witney Carson were saved at the last moment in Week 3 when Ray Lewis and Cheryl Burke were forced to leave the competition due to injury. So this week, they needed to make some adjustments. Well, consider those adjustments made, as Kel and Witney Cha Cha'd their way to raves from the judges and the audience.

Kate Flannery & Pasha
After two weeks of high scores, Kate Flannery and her partner Pasha Pashkov have proven themselves to be serious contenders in this stage of the competition. But this week, they needed to bring the heat with a passionate Argentine Tango. Unfortunately, Len and Carrie Ann felt like Kate "struggled to get into character," and Bruno saw several stumbles.

James Van Der Beek & Emma
This week, James Van Der Beek and his partner, Emma Slater, had an extra reason to bring some joy to their Quickstep: James and his wife Kimberly are expecting another child! Perfectly set to "Walking on Sunshine," it was impossible not to feel good in the ballroom after their performance, even if the judges had to call out some details for James and Emma to tighten up.

Hannah Brown & Alan
Hannah and her partner Alan Bersten needed to channel some passion and intensity into their Paso Doble. For Hannah, who has a hard time not smiling, it was a challenge. Bruno called the dance "drop dead gorgeous," Carrie Ann called it "passionate and delightful," and Len was impressed that "it had aggression, but with control."

Lamar Odom & Peta
Lamar Odom and his partner Peta Murgatroyd have been working hard every week to bring their scores up, and this week they faced the challenge of a romantic, lyrical Viennese Waltz. Carrie Ann said the performance "touched her heart" and Bruno said "the connection with Peta was wonderful to watch."

Sailor Brinkley-Cook & Val
Sailor and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy stepped up in a big way in Week 3, but would they be able to keep making that kind of progress this week with their Cha Cha? Len called it "another terrific performance" and Bruno told Sailor her "light is shining brighter every week," but Carrie Ann did point out the need to work on some consistency with her footwork.

Lauren Alaina & Gleb
After several weeks having to really stretch herself in terms of character, Lauren was thrilled to hear that she and her partner Gleb Savchenko would be dancing a Foxtrot to Dolly Parton's "Jolene." Len called it "very, very nice" and Bruno called it "classy." Carrie Ann declared that Lauren has "arrived," and guest judge Leah Remini "loved it all."

Karamo & Jenna
This week, Karamo's pro partner Jenna Johnson said she is over their low scores, and she was determined to get her and Karamo farther up that leaderboard. Bruno was excited to see Karamo "back on track" and Carrie Ann said it was "her favorite dance" of Karamo's, though she did call Jenna out on what she felt was an illegal lift. Len kept Karamo guessing about his score, but everyone was delighted to see him lift that "7" paddle.

Second Dancing with the Stars Elimination
Finally, it was time for the second elimination of the Dancing with the Stars 2019 season. With Ray Lewis having to step aside last week due to injury, this week's bottom two was selected by lowest live votes and lowest combined scores for weeks 2 and 3. It came down to two couples: Lamar & Peta and Karamo & Jenna. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli both voted to save Karamo & Jenna, meaning it was time to say "goodbye" to Lamar Odom & Peta.
