Guest judge and choreographer extraordinaire Mandy Moore sat in for Julianne Hough at the judges' table. There was a thrilling Dance Off Challenge just before the first double elimination of the season. The cast of Descendants 2 was also in the house. At the end of the evening, we had to say goodbye to Nancy Kerrigan and Nick Viall. Let's take a look at the DWTS Results and Eliminations for Week 7 below!
Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess did a Paso in a tribute to western movies. Len thought Bonner came out guns blazing. Guest judge Mandy Moore felt Bonner held his own in the tough dance his partner choreographed. Bruno wanted some more smoothness in the joints. Carrie Ann thought Bonner got a little lost in the routine but she loves his elegance. Scores of 7-7-8-7 from the judges for a total of 29.
Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev did a Tango in a tribute to romantic movies - Pretty Woman in particular! Mandy loved the story and the footwork but wanted to see a little more shoulder action. Bruno called it glossy, elegant and sophisticated. Carrie Ann thinks Nancy has blossomed the most out of anyone. Len said this pretty woman did a pretty good tango. Scores of 9-9-9-9 from the judges for a total of 36.
Simone Biles and Sasha Farber did the Charleston in a tribute to silent movies. Carrie Ann and Len felt it was a joy to watch. Mandy thinks Simone is an incredible performer but wants her to enjoy the moment more. Scores of 10-9-9-9 from the judges for a total 37.
Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd did an Argentine Tango in a tribute to action movies. Carrie Ann saw moments of brilliance but there were a lot of missteps, too. Len likes how much Nick has improved from Week 1. Mandy added that, for the first time in the competition, she stopped watching Nick and started watching "a dancer." Scores of 8-8-9-9 from the judges for a total 34.
Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater did a Paso in a tribute to horror movies. Len called the dancing "epic." Bruno thought the team reached for every corner of the stage. Carrie Ann believes Rashad still has posture issues. Scores of 9-9-10-9 from the judges for a total of 37. (Get Emma's gorgeous DWTS glow now.)
David Ross and Lindsay Arnold did a Salsa in a tribute to sci-fi movies. Mandy wants David to work on his footwork because he's a joy to watch. Bruno compared David's hip action to that of R2-D2. Carrie Ann didn't think it was a terrific Salsa, but loved the fun. Len agreed that David always entertains. Scores of 8-8-8-8 from the judges for a total of 32.
Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy did an Argentine Tango in a tribute to foreign films. Bruno called the routine the best dance of the night. Carrie Ann feels it's an honor to watch Normani dance. Scores of 10-10-10-10 from the judges for a perfect 40.
