The Sweetin Life: Jodie Sweetin Celebrates her Journey to Better Health on Dancing with the Stars!
We watched her grow up on Full House. Now we’re getting to see her shine on Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars. Jodie Sweetin played the precocious Stephanie Tanner on her long-running hit sitcom. Her signature exclamation of “how rude” whenever things didn’t go her way always brought a smile to our faces. After making it through some dark days where she battled addiction, Jodie is making us smile once more on Fuller House co-starring again with her friend Candace Cameron Bure and by lighting up the ballroom with Keo Motsepe. Let’s take a look at some their best moments so far!
Tears of Joy: While celebrating her “Most Memorable Year,” Jodie & Keo did the Foxtrot to a live performance of “Rise Up” by Andra Day. Emotion was evident throughout Jodie’s entire routine. Bruno called it her best performance to date and Carrie Ann dubbed it the most inspiring of the evening. There were tears afterwards, but cheers before that.
Opening Night: On the “Season Premiere,” Jodie & Keo did the Tango to “Confident” by Demi Lovato. Jodie wanted her Full House fans to see her for what she is today. Len liked the attitude, but it got a little hectic at times. Bruno wants her to watch her transitions, but thought it was a strong performance. Carrie Ann was impressed with Jodie’s attention to detail, but wondered about what looked to be a snarl emanating from her. See if you agree.
Fired Up: During “Latin Night,” Jodie & Keo performed a Samba to “Bun Up the Dance” by Dillion Francis & Skrillex. With flames shooting skyward behind her and a bare-chested partner beside her, Jodie got things off to a hot start. All of the judges agreed that she was better than last week and the gave her 7s across the board
