Wes Ramsey

Actor Biography

Wes Ramsey was born October 6, 1977 in Louisville, KY as the middle of three boys. He discovered his passion for the theater at the age of 12 during a three-week summer class at Walden Theater in his home town. He quickly enrolled full time in the fall where he remained for the next seven years, taking classes and performing. In 1996, Wes was accepted into the 29th group of the drama division in the Juilliard School in New York City. He graduated with a BFA in 2000. Shortly after which, Wes joined CBS' THE GUIDING LIGHT where he remained for two years. In 2002, Wes left NY for Los Angeles. His first film, LATTER DAYS, he starred alongside Joseph-Gordon Levitt, Jacqueline Bisset and Mary Kay Place. He has since shot numerous other independent films as well as several films for the SYFY network. Wes's numerous television credits include series regular roles on THE PLAYBOY CLUB, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, the Fox sitcom LUIS, & Nicholas Sparks' Lifetime original DELIVERANCE CREEK. His recurring and guest starring roles include CHARMED, CSI: MIAMI, HOUSE, THE EVENT, GREY'S ANATOMY, THE MENTALIST, CASTLE, STALKER, CODE BLACK and PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. Wes also has starring roles in the feature films; LAST SEEN IN IDAHO, TWO PICTURES and PERCEPTION. Wes resides in Los Angeles California.
