Al Michaels Weighs In on Deflate-Gate

By now we’ve heard what the New England Patriots’ Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have to say about “Deflate-Gate,” but on the January 22 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy turned to legendary sportscaster Al Michaels for a more impartial take on the controversy.
Michaels gives it to us straight—and also takes the time to put things in perspective for us, reminding us that there are other things going on besides “Deflate-Gate.” You know, like the government of Yemen collapsing and terrorists in France.
Nevertheless, the interview remained pretty sports-centric, with Michaels sharing a few stories from his new book You Can’t Make This Up, like the time he called a game with Howard Cosell and Tommy Lasorda and one of the men ended up in tears.
He also revealed a surprising fact about the famous “Miracle on Ice” hockey game, which he announced.
