Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth Bet Jimmy Kimmel $1000 They’ll Stay Together
Following the finale of The Bacehlorette and the After the Final Rose special, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth were able to make their first late-night talk show appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Jimmy opened the interview asking "how many men are you in love with right now." To which Kaitlyn respondend, "just one." Jimmy asked the happy couple if they've watched the show together. Shawn talks about how he set out to win Kaitlyn's heart as soon as she was eliminated from Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor. Jimmy asks the couple about the snapchat situation where Kaitlyn gave away who she picked. They tell Jimmy they intended to send a snap to one of the producers but accidentally made it public. During this time, Kaitlyn told Shawn "You idiot. You snapchatted a picture of us." Upon further inspection, Shawn figured out that Kaitlyn was the one that actually sent it out. The couple went into "full panic" mode following the news.
Jimmy can't take the fact that so many couples break up. Jimmy told the couple "Twice a year for like 13 years now, we've seen people get together. They come on the show and they seem to be very much in love...And then the next thing we know, we see them on the cover of a magazine with a tear down the center. Quite frankly, my heart can't take it anymore." To keep them together, Jimmy asks the couple to swear on a stack of US Weekly. He makes them swear that if they are not a couple on July 27, 2016, they will pay him $1000 dollars in either a lump sum on monthly installments.

Before the happy couple were interviewed, Jimmy and Guillermo took Kaitlyn wedding dress shopping. Jimmy and Guillermo even tried on a few bridesmaid dresses with Kaitlyn. Jimmy even manages to fit in Kaitlyn's leather leggings that she left in the dressing room. Since they went wedding dress shopping before the finale, Jimmy brought a cutout of Shawn Booth to see if it went well with the dress Kaitlyn selected.
