Jimmy Kimmel Live! Nominated for 2019 Emmy Awards

Nominations for the 71st Emmy® Awards were announced today by the Television Academy and Jimmy Kimmel Live! received a nomination for Outstanding Variety Talk Series. Celebrity presenters Ken Jeong and D'Arcy Carden announced the nominations this morning.

This is the second year in a row that Jimmy Kimmel Live! has been nominated in this category. Jimmy Kimmel himself was also heavily involved in Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear's "All in the Family" and "The Jeffersons," which was nominated for three 2019 Emmy Awards.

The 2019 Emmy Awards will telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 22, (8:00 - 11:00 PM ET/5:00 - 8:00 PM PT) on FOX.
