DOs and DON'Ts: Attending a Concert with Haley and Alex

During Modern Family's "Spring Break," Haley (Sarah Hyland) and Alex (Ariel Winter) attend the Temescal Music and Arts Festival, but Alex can't enjoy herself because she's too busy worrying about college admissions. Each Dunphy girl has her own unique way of taking in a concert and they demonstrate some things that you should do, while some other things are a big don't.

DO cut loose. There's nothing wrong with trying to emulate Michelangelo so you can use your "chisel" to artfully "free the party girl from the block of nerd."
DON'T use a Long Island Iced Tea as the aforementioned "chisel."

DON'T make a scene. A concert is no place to be questioning how hard you worked through school only to be rejected by Harvard. Also, no one should get more attention than the guy who's wearing a ferret as a scarf.
DO enjoy yourself. You're not always going to finish first. Plus, chances are, you're better than the field of 6,000 idiots attending the outdoor show.

DON'T get a ride in a van from a guy named Weasel who knows some hot springs in the hills.
DOfeel free to use body surfing as an alternate mode of transportation.

DO bring a phone in case you lose your friend.
DON'T answer the phone if the incoming call says "Claire Dunphy."

DO dance.
DON'T dance like this:

From Season 6, Episode 18 of Modern Family, "Spring Break." ABC WEDNESDAYS 9|8c.
