The nominees for Directing are: ANOTHER ROUND, MANK, MINARI, NOMADLAND and PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN. Chloé Zhao, the director of NOMADLAND, is the first woman to receive four nominations in a single year. Emerald Fennell, the director of PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN, is the first woman to be nominated for her feature film directing debut.
