Actor Biography

Desmond Chiam plays Wyatt Cole on Reef Break, the sexy, action-packed, one-hour drama, set on a stunning and seductive Pacific Island paradise full of fast-paced, high-octane adventures and island intrigue.

Chiam is best known for his role as General Riga in The Shannara Chronicles, and will be seen next as Jethro in Starz's Now Apocalypse and as Xerxes in Walt Disney's Magic Camp.

Chaim grew up in Australia and graduated with a law degree—with honors—from the University of Melbourne. He was also one of the top three graduates in his class from the Writing for Screen & Television program at the University of Southern California, where he obtained a Master of Fine Arts.

Chiam resides in Los Angeles, California.
