The Bachelorette Results: Contestants JJ, Tanner, Ben Z and Chris "Cupcake" Eliminated
In this week’s episode of The Bachelorette, the gang continued their adventures in Ireland. Kaitlyn dealt with the aftermath of what went down in San Antonio, making for an even more emotional week than usual.
After a tough talk with Shawn B, Kaitlyn pulled herself together and kicked off Week 7 with a two-on-one date with JJ and Joe. During the date, JJ pulled her aside and confessed that three years ago, he cheated on his wife. While Kaitlyn seemed appreciative of JJ’s honesty, in the end she chose to sail off into the sunset with Joe, leaving JJ rose-less:
There were more goodbyes to be said at this week’s Rose Ceremony, as Kaitlyn bid farewell to Tanner and a tearful Ben Z as well. Tanner had already joked about being shocked to have made it this far, but Ben's departure was fairly surprising -- for him as well, it seemed.
Shortly following a fun-filled road trip to Killarney with Jared, Kaitlyn was paid a visit by the one and only Chris Harrison. Chris declared that every guy deserves a chance to talk with Kaitlyn off-camera, so he’s switching up the game. Instead of having Hometown Dates next week, she’ll instead have the Overnight Dates first, which means that she’ll only meet the families of the final two men. Much better. The tricky part is that she'll have to narrow down the guys from six to three by the end of this round:
For this week’s one-on-one date, Kaitlyn took Chris “Cupcake” to the beautiful Cliffs of Moher for a picnic. Just as everything seemed to be going smoothly, Kaitlyn broke down and admitted that Chris wouldn't be with her forever:
Kaitlyn left Chris sobbing on the side of a cliff, and we are left wondering what will happen next Monday. Here are the contestants who are remaining after last night's episode:
