There's no one quite like Beverly Goldberg (Wendi McLendon-Covey). While The Goldbergs' matriarch may seem like a hovering, overbearing parent to Barry (Troy Gentile), Erica (Hayley Orrantia), and Adam (Sean Giambrone), Bev truly has a heart of gold and only wants what's best for her beloved schmoopies. (Can you blame her?) Despite her incessant smothering, Bev is just a committed mother who will do anything for her children. With a mom like Beverly, every day should be Mother's Day!

What's better than one Bev? Two Bevs! In season 2, episode 11, "The Darryl Dawkins Dance," Beverly finds Barry a date for the dance who bears a striking resemblance to her. 

Beverly Steals Candy from Kids

In the season 3 episode, "Couples Costume," Beverly hides a razor in the Halloween candy bowl to teach a safety lesson. The lesson backfires when Pops (George Segal) accidentally hands out the razor-filled candy and she has to chase it down.
