Actor Biography
Richard T. Jones has amassed a long body of work entertaining audiences throughout his career and is known for his roles in feature films, including Rick Famuyiwa's "The Wood," Paul Anderson's "Event Horizon," Gary Fleder's "Kiss the Girls," Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" and "Why Did I Get Married Too?," Pete Travis' "Vantage Point," J.J. Abrams' "Super 8," Gareth Edwards' "Godzilla," Anne Fletcher's "Hot Pursuit," Peter Landesman's "Concussion" and Dax Shepard's "CHIPS."
Jones currently plays the role of Sergeant Wade Grey on the ABC series "The Rookie," starring opposite Nathan Fillion. Previously, he starred in the short-lived CBS series "Wisdom of the Crowd." He will next be seen in the Emilio Estevez-directed film "The Public" and the independent feature film "Sanitatum," opposite Elisabeth Röhm.
