Caitlyn Jenner Talks Book, Kris Jenner and Donald Trump in The View Interview
Caitlyn Jenner sat down with The View co-hosts Wednesday April 26, 2017 to talk about her stunningly candid memoir, "The Secrets of My Life." The book chronicles the pivotal first years of Caitlyn becoming her authentic self. It's been two years since Caitlyn became one of the most famous transgender people in the world. Caitlyn says she has nothing left to hide since writing the memoir.
"Now that the book's out, I absolutely have no secrets left," Caitlyn tells the co-hosts. "It is the most rewarding, freeing spirit....basically I played it in the shadows. Nobody knew. I hid it from people. For six years of my life, I spent it in a house and never really came out in Malibu....I never really felt like I fit in. I came out to buy groceries and go to work once in awhile...it was very difficult times."
Although Caitlyn is happy to be out of the shadows, some people in her life are having trouble adjusting. On a recent episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," ex-wife Kris Jenner reacted to the memoir saying "everything" said about her in the Caitlyn Jenner book "was made up." Caitlyn watched the clip from the show and reacted to the claims on The View.

"This is my story," Caitlyn says. "This is not her story. This is my story. This is the way I saw things in my life...Her perception of what happened and my perception are different, which is ok.
