On the Thursday June 9th, 2016 episode D.L. Hughley visited The View. D.L. discussed politics stating President Obama is who people aspire to be and Donald Trump is what people are. He also says Paul Ryan backing Trump is showing the country that some feel it is better to be racist than a liberal. He just completed his second book "Black Man, White House: An Oral History of the Obama Years" which takes actual events and has them narrated by Michelle Obama. He is currently on tour.
