Safe Horizon Marks National Domestic Violence Awareness Month With "Put the Nail in It" Campaign

It's National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Every nine seconds in the United States, a woman is assaulted or beaten. The View co-host Sunny Hostin is on the board of Safe Horizon, which is the largest provider of domestic violence services in the country. They have a new campaign called "Put The Nail In It" where men and women are encouraged to make a donation and paint their left ring fingernail a shade of purple, which is the color associated with domestic violence prevention, and share it on social media.
