Pops recounts his grandfather's history at the Savoy, where songbird Mirabelle Chalet (guest star Mary J. Blige) sings "I'm Going Down." Pops's heartbroken grandfather Drex (Anthony Anderson) is too distracted from the show because club owner Elroy (guest star Sean "Diddy" Combs) is keeping him away from showgirl Bea (Tracee Ellis Ross).
