Saving Young Lives by Restoring Old Cars
The Automotive Mentoring Group is an organization that was created to help eliminate gang violence in Chicago. The founder, Alex Lavesque, uses old cars as a way to attract young men and women into his shop and off the streets. Not only do participants work on cars and learn new skills, they are mentored and able to become more productive citizens.
