A Chicago-based french bakery, Vanille Patisserie, has been making sweets inspired by the quarantine. Their best-sellers are their Fauci cupcakes, Tiger King cake, Lori cake, and Toilet Paper cake. Bakery Owner, Sophie Evanoff, said they aim to is bring a smile to someone's face. Currently, the only location that is opened in their Lincoln Park store. They are only taking pick-up orders and only allowing two customers in the store at a time. Vanille's decorative sweets have been such a hit that they have welcomed over 18 members back into the shop. They have also found time to help feed first responders. Evanoff said the positive messages they've gotten from customers make it all worthwhile.
