After a push from April, Jackson approaches his father, Robert Avery, at his diner in Montana. After Jackson reveals who he is, Robert welcomes him, and excitedly talks about everything, including how he couldn't handle life as an Avery, or Catherine's 'crushing' expectations. Jackson gets angry and storms out after Robert says he's been happy all these years (without knowing his son).
