ABOUT
This collective gives LGBTQ+ youth a safe space to get clothes for free
Kayla Wilson started Metamorphosis at age 21 while she was homeless. It began as a small clothing swap focused on marginalized youth. The project has grown into a collective movement…and all the clothes are free. Before COVID-19 it was a mobile boutique popping up at local events – but the pandemic has forced them to go virtual. They have branches in Orlando, Philadelphia and the Philly suburbs. The hope is to add to the resources of what metamorphosis can do as a collective with care packages and counseling services.
