While Dre (Anthony Anderson) uses technology to spy on Zoey, Pops (Laurence Fishburne) admits he did things old-school by hiring a homeless guy to follow Dre around when he was a child. Dre had always thought he was going to be kidnapped by that white stalker and he explains that his views on white people were shaped by what Pops put him through.
