Pumpkin carving for Halloween is nothing new, but a team of master carvers is taking the craft to the next level. At Descanso Garden’s “Carved” event near Los Angeles, artists work around-the-clock to finish their festive masterpieces before opening night. The impressive pumpkin spectacular takes visitors along a one-mile path lined with over 1,000 jack-o’-lanterns, some weighing over 100 pounds, intricately carved with popular themes including movie monsters, Día De Los Muertos, and even some Disney inspired creations.
