Kentucky Tattoo Shop Covers Hate Symbols Free of Charge
Jennifer Tucker had the rebel flag tattooed on her ankle when she was in high school—but as she grew older her attitude towards the hate symbol changed. “I was ashamed to stand next to someone who wasn’t the same color as me…I can’t be here standing up for my friends with a rebel flag on my ankle.” That’s when she found the tattoo artists at Gallery X Art Collective in Murray, Kentucky. They started the #Coverthehate campaign, offering cover over hate tattoos for free.
