Tulsa Remote gives people $10k to move to Oklahoma
Would you take $10k to live and work in Tulsa, Oklahoma? The Tulsa Remote program is giving participants $10,000 to live and work for a year. Jaleesa Garland is one of the program's participants who packed up her car and drove cross-country from California to Oklahoma just to take part. “I am going to be making more money than I did in the Bay Area and my living expenses are going to be a lot less,” she said. After living in a tiny bedroom with four other roommates, she took the grant and will now be living in her own, spacious apartment in the up and coming city.
