The Pearland Moms Facebook group from Pearland, Texas wanted to do something to honor George Floyd as his family and friends prepared to say goodbye. The group members were out at 5am on Tuesday to tie yellow and red ribbons along the route leading to the cemetery. The group also left chalk messages for the Floyd family, including “We Will Heal”, “Love Thy Neighbor”, “Justice Begins Next Door”, and “You’re Not Alone”.
