Actor Biography
Nolan Gould is happy to reprise his role as Luke Dunphy on ABC's award winning comedy, Modern Family.
Nolan will next be seen starring in Camp, a one-hour digital special produced by James Franco and Joey King. He was in the Civil War film Field of Lost Shoes, directed by Sean McNamara, staring opposite David Arquette and Tom Skerritt. Other film credits include The To-Do List and Friends With Benefits.
His television credits include starring in the made-for-TV movie Ghoul, and the live-action Hub Original Series R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour. He played on Ellen Degeneres' hot game show Heads Up and was also on Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Off screen, Nolan likes to spend his time outdoors doing everything from hiking to biking to Parkour. He recently became a certified scuba diver, and has since become deeply concerned about the oceans. His love for the outdoors is what created his strong sense of responsibility to protect and preserve the environment. He is a Sierra Club Youth Ambassador, and an advocate for environmental preservation.
Nolan also has a deep appreciation for music. He plays a unique collection of musical instruments including the piano, standup bass, banjo, sitar and theremin. Nolan prides himself on discovering new bands/artists. He lives with his family in Los Angeles.
