The Bachelor Week 5 Spoilers: Who Does Ben Eliminate During a Group Date?
Buckle up! It’s time for The Bachelor recap for Season 20, Episode 5. Warning! Bachelor spoliers ahead! The first international stop of the season finds Ben Higgins and the 11 remaining bachelorettes traveling to Mexico City. There was no Rose Ceremony this time around, but plenty of drama including tears and meltdowns courtesy of Olivia. There was also a shocking elimination. Who will Ben pick on The Bachelor? A Difficult Past: After an early-morning wake-up call where the ladies are concerned about Ben catching on to their hair weaves, retainers and dragon breath, Amanda is whisked away to soar over ancient ruins in a hot-air balloon. When the evening rolls around, Amanda opens up about her past. See how Ben reacts to her story.
Mint Condition: The women will attempt to learn Spanish with Ben but they immediately need to use their new-found knowledge to go shopping for a cooking competition. A few of the ladies get miffed when Olivia steals Ben away… again! Some feel the reason they did some taste-testing with some mint is because Olivia’s mouth smells like…well…not mint.
A Joyless Jubilee: There’s an old tradition in Mexico that states you are ready to get married once you know how to cook. Olivia put some crickets on her cooking challenge dish because everyone loves crickets. Everyone except the judges. They do, however, love Jubilee’s co-cooked dish, but that can’t help the heartache she’s feeling. Things go from bad to worse. See why.
Passion for Fashion: Lauren H. has a spring in her step as she and Ben walk the runway with top models during for Mexico City’s Fashion Week for a one-on-one date. Both look great as they strut their. It was a day of fun and an evening that ends with Lauren getting a rose.
The Teen Scene: Amanda is giving the ladies the rundown on how she’s dealing with her mom responsibilities while she’s away from her kids when Olivia chimes in with a comment that stops everyone in their tracks. Amanda is completely offended when she is likened to a certain reality TV show. See which one.
Tears of Twin: Emily decides to take matters into their own hands and corner Ben about Olivia’s bad behavior. She’s in tears as she tells him how she’s been feeling. She gives her sister a call as the source of her unhappiness makes her way back to Ben. Will the Bachelor decide it is time for her to pack her bags?
