DWTS Season 27 Results: Week 4 - Trio Night

Dancing with the Stars Trio Night was a night full of fun and fresh dances, with guest dancers joining each couple this week. The guest dancers ranged from past Dancing with the Stars champs to a Harry Potter star and a Bachelor in Paradise gentleman. Here's a recap of Trio Night, including scores and what judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli had to say about all the dances, plus the night's elimination.

Juan Pablo & Cheryl with Melissa Rycroft: Bruno said Juan Pablo's Cha Cha was "dead sexy" but the judges were expecting more from Juan Pablo after his superb Samba last week. He received three 8s, for a total of 24 out of 30.

Tinashe & Brandon with Amy Purdy: Len had some notes for Tinashe's dance form, but praised the trio's Tango over all. They scored a 9, an 8, and a 9 for a total of 26 out of 30.

John & Emma with Joey Fatone: "It was a bit of a Greek tragedy to start," remarked Len of the Argentine Tango, but said he liked that they went straight into the dance, the way they interacted, and that the performance had passion. They earned three 7s for a total of 21 out of 30.

Evanna & Keo with Scarlett Byrne: Evanna and Keo's trio made a good impression on the judges, who liked how Evanna grows with every dance. They awarded the trio dance three 8s for a total of 24 out of 30.

DeMarcus & Lindsay with Rashad Jennings: Carrie Ann felt that DeMarcus tried to dance too much like Rashad, and she wanted him to find his own style. Len found their Paso Doble "a bit flimsy on occasion." The judges scored the dance with a 7, a 7, and an 8 for a total of 22 out of 30.

Mary Lou & Sasha with Nastia Liukin: "It was fun, it was snappy, and Lenny is a happy chappy," Len said. Bruno and Carrie Ann agreed, and that translated into the scores: a 9, an 8, and another 9 for a total of 26 out of 30.

Milo & Witney with Riker Lynch: "I thought it was wonderful, and the best dance I've seen tonight!" said Len. "It was SAL-sational" proclaimed Bruno about the team's trio Salsa. "It was so many things, but it was absolutely perfect. Perfect!" said Carrie Ann. It was a 10, a 9, and another 10 for an almost perfect 29 out of 30.

Grocery Store Joe & Jenna with Jordan Kimball: "That was a unique experience. I have no idea if I was watching Magic Mike, Tragic Mike, Michael the Mechanic, no idea!" Bruno, Len, and Carrie Ann were mostly speechless about Joe, Jordan, and Jenna's "I'm Too Sexy" Salsa. The trio received three 5s from the judges, for a total of 15 out of 30.

Alexis & Alan with Maddie Ziegler: Carrie Ann felt that there were three (great) solos happening instead of a group dancing as a unit. Len thought it was a really good job and he enjoyed it. "What I saw was a guy who really empowered his girls," added Bruno. The dancers received an 8, an 8, and a 9 for a total of 25 out of 30.

Bobby & Sharna with Lindsey Stirling: "You took the sledgehammer to the Cha Cha Cha," Bruno said, of Bobby's dance to MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This." Carrie Ann and Len felt similarly, and Bobby received a 7, a 6, and a 7 for a total of 20 out of 30.

At the end of the night, Evanna and Keo and Tinashe and Brandon were in jeopardy, and Tinashe and Brandon were eliminated.
