Price Is Right Contestant in Wheelchair Wins Better Prize from Jimmy
Jimmy Kimmel showed a clip on the Wednesday, May 6, 2015 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live that he believed to be one of the strangest things ever to happen on a game show which has since become a viral video. The moment happened on an episode of The Price Is Right, when contestant Danielle Perez, who is in a wheelchair, was awarded a treadmill. Jimmy welcomed Danielle in his studio to talk about her experience on the game show. After congratulating Danielle and discussing her game show appearance, Jimmy had one more question for her: “Can you tell me -- within a dollar -- how much this jar of peanut butter costs?” Danielle’s guess proved to once again make her a winner. This time she won a much better prize of a Royal Caribbean International cruise on Anthem of the Seas where she will sail the Caribbean with wheelchair-accessible entertainment, wheelchair-accessible fine dining, the wheelchair-accessible Bionic Bar, wheelchair-accessible pools and staterooms, all expenses paid.
Danielle Perez, The Price Is Right contestant in a wheelchair who won a treadmill, won a much better prize from Jimmy Kimmel. After her Price Is Right win, she tweeted a picture of her reaction with the caption, "When you win a treadmill on national TV, but you have no feet." Danielle posted the tweet to Price Is Right host Drew Carey, who wanted to join her with Jimmy, but he was out of town during the taping.
