Partner Perfect: Nyle DiMarco & Sharna Burgess did a Viennese Waltz to “I Get to Love You” by Ruelle. Tyra Banks popped by during rehearsals to remind Nyle just how amazing he is. Even with a new partner, Nyle didn’t miss a beat in his lovely, atmospheric dance. Carrie Ann was in tears at the end of it. So was his original partner, Peta. See why!

Last Dance, Best Dance: Jodie Sweetin & Valentin Chmerkovskiy did a Paso to “Under Control” by Calvin Harris & Alesso featuring Hurts. The night came to a thrilling with a very strong routine. Len says Jodie went from lemonade to champagne in a week. Maks feels Jodie is good enough to make it to the finals. Carrie Ann says it was, by far, her best dance.

Street Cred: Ginger Zee & Mark Ballas did the Salsa to “La Malanga” by Eddie Palmieri. Ginger’s husband was in the rehearsal studio as his wife got up close and personal with her new partner. All that close body contact paid off with sexy, streetwise routine that had the crowd going wild. Len felt like he was in the club with this fantastic dance. Bruno was in a “frenzy of excitement” during the routine.

Tango Time: Wanya Morris & Witney Carson performed a Tango to “Hold Back the River” by James Bay, who performed the song live in the ballroom. Well, Wanya kicked of the evening in an action-packed way. That wasn’t a good thing according to Len, who felt it was all too hectic. But Bruno was impressed by all the complex steps and assured him he’s an incredible performer. See Wanya in action.

A Matter of Trust: Paige VanZant & Sasha Farber did the Rumba to “Perfect (Stripped)” by One Direction. Paige did her best to work through the trust issues she mentioned during rehearsals. The team turned in a sweet, flowing routine that ended with the two new partners holding hands.

Bucking Bronco: Von Miller & Lindsay Arnold did the Jive to “Hips” by Beans & Fatback. He may play for the Broncos, but Von sure looked like a cowboy in his country-themed routine. The crowd loved it but the judges saw a few mistakes. Bruno loved the swagger and Carrie Ann appreciated that Lindsay was clever enough to go with her new partner’s style. Len loved the fun and energy.

There was no elimination in Week 5, but that won’t be the case next time out. The quest for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy continues in Week 6 with “Famous Dances” night! Make sure you come back to the biggest dance party on earth MONDAY, APRIL 25 8|7c on ABC!
