Belle of the Ballroom: Ginger Zee & Valentin Chmerkovskiy did the Foxtrot “Belle” from Beauty and the Beast. It’s fitting that this routine came a day after Once Upon a Time’s “Her Handsome Prince” episode featuring Belle and Gaston aired. Carrie Ann felt Ginger was literally the Belle of the Ballroom. See why!
Toy-rrific!: Paige VanZant & Mark Ballas ended the evening with a Quickstep to “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story. With an assist from some green army soldiers, the team certainly finished the night on a high note. Bruno felt the team went for infinity and beyond.
Hail to the King: Wanya Morris & Lindsay Arnold performed a Samba to “Circle of Life” from The Lion King. It was a ferocious routine that was full of attack and action. Bruno called him a “magnificent beast.” Get ready for some rip-roaring fun!
A Whole New Antonio: Antonio Brown & Sharna Burgess performed a Jazz routine to “Friend Like Me” from Aladdin. Antonio let the genie out of the bottle and turned in his best dance of the season. Bruno said he could have been a Rockette, which is a compliment, right?
Undressed for the Occasion: Nyle DiMarco & Peta Murgatroyd did a Samba to “Trashin’ the Camp” from Tarzan. The King of the Jungle felt right at home in the ballroom doing a fantastic flip to kick things off. Bruno said the loincloth-wearing Nyle was “perfectly undressed for the occasion” and dubbed him “Lord of the Dance.”
A Charming Performance: Von Miller & Witney Carson did a Viennese Waltz “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from Cinderella. The carriage they showed up in was the one used in the live action movie. Bruno was totally enchanted by Prince Charming’s performance. Len said he went from drab to fab in a week.
