Character Biography

You know those kids who are so intelligent it’s almost annoying? Well, Alex Dunphy is super smart but in a completely likeable way. She’s the middle child, which means she enjoys messing with both her older sister and younger brother equally. You get the sense that Alex is an outside observer to the antics that surround her while she quietly does her own thing. As much as she enjoys torturing her brother and sister, you know that she’ll always have their backs.

Alex is growing up fast. She experienced her first kiss with a boy at a dude ranch in Wyoming. She has also reached goddess status with the male nerds in her school which impresses her sister, Haley. Alex says, “You have your fans, I have mine. Someday your fans are going to work for my fans.”
