In a flashback to the 1920s Harlem Renaissance, Drex Johnson (Anthony Anderson) has a run-in with club owner and gangster Elroy Savoy (guest star Sean "Diddy" Combs). Ice delivery man Drex just wants to run away with showgirl Bea (Tracee Ellis Ross), but Elroy intervenes and an intimidated Bea goes along with her boss and slaps Drex. To add insult to injury, it turns out that Elroy really can pronounce "ice" and has been calling Drex "ass boy" the entire time. From the Season 1 Finale of black-ish, "Pops' Pops' Pops."
