The Bachelor 2017 Recap: Who Did Nick Viall Pick?
Welcome to The Bachelor 2017 finale recap! After his dreams of finding love were cut short when Bachelorettes Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe left him heartbroken, Nick narrowed down the field of 30 bachelorettes to two beautiful women - Raven and Vanessa. Who did Nick Viall choose? Luckily, all of the heartbreak was worth it as Nick got his happily ever after when he proposed to Vanessa and she said yes! Watch: Raven Meets Nick's Family Again
Raven gets to spend more time with Nick's family. The beautiful Southern belle feels right at home with Nick's parents and sister Bella since they already formed a special bond while visiting Wisconsin. Nick's father poses some tough questions to Raven in Finland.
Nick's Father Gets Emotional with Vanessa
Vanessa's meeting with Nick's family is a bit more intense than Raven's. During their one-on-one time, Vanessa admits to Nick's father that she's scared and asks him if he thinks love is enough at this point. The cautious bachelorette leaves Nick's parents worried when she can't say for sure she is ready to accept a proposal.
After the emotional rollercoaster of meeting the parents, Nick takes Vanessa and Raven on two last dates. Nick's final date with Vanessa starts as a hike to a special secret destination: Santa Claus' snow-covered cottage. Later that evening things get serious when the pair discusses the compromises they will need to make on where to live and family traditions. Raven and Nick's last date is filled with a romantic ice-skating excursion. That night Raven's cheery personality continues to remind him why she holds a special place in his heart.
Nick Rejects Raven
After opening her heart to Nick, Raven learns that she's not his final choice. After telling her how much love and respect he has for her, Nick admits that he's not 'in love' with her and that ultimately his heart is somewhere else.
